Location: Located amongst the rice fields and Rambutan trees, away from the main road, just a few steps through rice fields to Anturan Beach. Anturan is probably the better of a group of small coastal villages in North Bali known collectively as Lovina. Approx. 6km from the former (under Dutch rule) capital Singaraja, Anturan's beach is of fine volcanic black sand benefiting from calm waters due to the coral reefs. Around a 2 hour drive from the airport, Anturan / Lovina is much more laid back than its rival (Kuta) in the South.

Superior Rooms are in the main accommodations wing & have been completely refurbished in 2002.Superior Rooms have no television and refrigerator. Balinese Bungalow rooms have living room areas and equipped with TV and Refrigerator. It is located near sport facilities such as swimming pool, table tennis and tennis court.

Travelethos own comments and observations
Celuk Agung's Superior Rooms are superb for the money, I really do not think you will find a better hotel room in Bali for what they charge. The grounds are also extensive and the staff really friendly (I should know, I married one of them). My only suggestion is to offer to pay a little more (and I mean just a little more) to get a slightly bigger and better breakfast! The swimming pool is huge and the walk down the path to the beach, which is deserted (ok, it is not exactly a beautiful beach), is wonderful. The staff will take you to a local restaurant at night (if you want to eat out) and collect you again if the restaurant does not offer such a service.
